Are You Happy with Your Body?

Health & Wellness

By Kathy Jordan

If you are among the 60-70% of Americans who are overweight, you probably have tried many diets. Many people think diets don’t work. That’s not entirely true. Most diets restrict calories in some fashion. If you burn more calories than you consume, weight will come off. BUT it’s not just about losing weight. Weight management is more about Vision, Attitude and Accountability than food.

That’s where I come in. As your weight coach, I will help you form your vision and adopt a winning attitude and lifestyle that breeds immediate and long term success. I will hold you accountable through powerful, life changing conversations.

What is Weight Coaching?

Weight coaching is a process that produces satisfying results for those who are ready to end the struggle with their weight once and for all.  Coaching is offered by phone, in person or through small groups via specially designed webinars.

Why did I choose to become a weight coach?

I began having issues with food and weight around age fifteen. This led to a strong interest in how eating behaviors and activity affected my weight. I earned a BS in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts and an MS from Eastern Michigan University. I developed and launched a very successful behavioral weight management program and outpatient nutrition clinic for a hospital system near Boston and continued similar programs in Michigan. Most of what I used to help others successfully lose weight and maintain that weight loss came from my own experiences and knowledge of health, fitness and nutrition. My life long contribution has been helping others, who have similar goals, achieve and maintain a healthier, fit body.
