Holistic Psychotherapy looks at the individual as a whole being – body, mind, and spirit. It is a modality which utilizes many helpful techniques in addition to the traditional “talk” therapy. These can include visualization, meditation, journaling, astrology, numerology, etc. All depends on what the person is looking for and what may provide clarity, relief, and healing back to wholeness.
The focal point of Holistic Psychotherapy is the Soul. Soul is the essence of who we are, what we carry through each lifetime. We come into each lifetime with a particular life mission. When we wander off that path, we feel out of balance, at the least. It takes courage to pursue that source of that imbalance, as it usually involves change. But the rewards are inner peace, contentment, and a sense of power in our own life.
Holistic Psychotherapy reestablishes a strong sense of self. We all need to fulfill our unique mission for the tapestry of this life to be complete. Holistic Psychotherapy promotes the living out of our own gifts, using our skills, our voice. It is holding ourselves accountable to move forward in our own healthy sense of power, living full lives of loving and receiving love---the ultimate reason we are all here.
