Meeting the changing needs of “Seniors Today”

Health & Wellness

By Joanna Viera

The decision to place a loved one in a Health Care Center is seldom willingly made. It's a step you take after all other alternatives have been exhausted. You will probably study and evaluate these centers under pressure and during a time of family crisis. For that reason, we urge you to accept the understanding and advice available from your family professionals: your physician, clergy, and social worker. Their experience can provide valuable wisdom, objectivity, and strength.

Our Health Care Centers are designed and developed to meet the increasing health care needs of today's seniors. Our resident population is small to assure individual attention. As experienced providers, we offer a team of health care professionals capable of meeting the medical, nursing, therapeutic, social and recreational needs of each resident or participant. Our programs enhance the lives of those we care for by providing quality care with respect, dignity, and kindness. With the help of our medical team, we offer family caregivers respite and the opportunity to participate in developing the care plan of their loved ones. Let me tell you about our two facilities located minutes from St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Brandon Woods of Dartmouth is a Health Care Continuum dedicated to meeting the changing needs of today's seniors. At Brandon Woods located at 567 Dartmouth Street in South Dartmouth, we pride ourselves on our innovative and progressive approach to caring for our mature population.
