Use your head not your emotions when considering your staffing needs.  Payroll is most businesses largest expense.  How many people or hours are required to accomplish what needs to be done in your business?  How and where can you save on labor hours?

Negotiate Rates

Negotiate with existing vendors for better rates on current services. They will understand their customers’ needs to trim back a little.  You could even offer to pay early for a discount.  Create a win-win situation when negotiating with your existing vendors.  You’d want the same if it were you being asked to “reduce rates.”
