Whether you’re living alone or raising children, you’re probably feeling the impact of tough financial times. But, that doesn’t mean you have to choose between basic necessities like food and gas, and quality health coverage that provides access to the care you deserve.
Free or subsidized high-quality health coverage programs are available to eligible Massachusetts residents. You and/or your family members may be eligible for coverage in MassHealth or Commonwealth Care.
BMC HealthNet Plan participates in both of these state programs. Once you qualify, BMC HealthNet Plan can help you get high-quality, coordinated care. As one of four managed care plans serving qualified Massachusetts residents, we take our role very seriously, and continuously seek out opportunities to improve the lives and health of all of our 240,000 members, including 83,000 adult females across Massachusetts.
In addition to complete coverage, such as doctor, hospital, and specialist visits and prescription medications, our MassHealth new-mother members get free breast pumps, and MassHealth children members get free car seats and bike helmets. Our maternity programs for high-risk pregnant members ensure they receive appropriate care and services. And, all our members enjoy the security associated with access to a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week Nurse Advice Line.
BMC HealthNet Plan continues to develop innovative health programs, such as “Queen for a Day” – a MassHealth program that turns the nerve-wracking event of getting a mammogram into a celebration. We strive to ensure that all our members enjoy both great health and peace of mind – something all women need and deserve, even those on a tight budget.
