As the weather gets colder Mother Nature sends us outside to rake leaves, shovel snow, and go skiing, sledding, and ice skating too! Inevitably, many will end up with aches, pains, and even strains and sprains. So how do you prevent these possibly severe injuries?
Injury is even more likely when the body is out of balance due to already existing pain or misalignment that you may not even feel yet. Body balance and strength is at its peak when the spine is aligned and functioning at its best. While we toil away shoveling snow, or get a little banged-up sledding with the kids, our bodies will be stronger and be better able to handle the physical task at hand when we are aligned and at our best.
Don’t let aches and pains put a damper on your holidays! Prevent them before they start. Chiropractic may also provide some cold weather relief for arthritis sufferers.
