¼ lb of butter (1 stick) 1 cup milk PLUS 1 teaspoon
1 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour ½ tsp salt
1 cup cornmeal 3 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
Cream butter and sugar well. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Mix dry ingredients together, add to butter mixture alternately with milk. Pour into 8” pan (sprayed with PAM) and bake in preheated 350˚ oven for 30 minutes.
