The Best Way to Lower Your Golf Score

Here are few tips to help you score better in 2009.
Hit your 3 wood or hybrid club off the tees for more accuracy, leave your driver in the bag. Sacrifice distance for better accuracy.
If you tend to slice your tee shots, always tee off on the right side of the tee for right-handed golfers. If you’re a left handed golfer tee off from the left side of the tee. This allows you to use the entire fairway.
If you hook the ball you should tee off on the left side of the tee box for right handed golfers and the right side of the tee box for left handed golfers. This allows you to use the whole fairway.
Know how far you hit each club, especially your wedges. Take an extra club: most golfers under club themselves. A high majority of golfers from all levels consistently come up short on shots to the green. This will save you 2 or 3 shots per round.
Try to leave yourself uphill putts. This will help you eliminate three putt greens. Always play more break than you think on all putts.
If possible try to leave yourself a full shot onto the green, the half swing is one of the hardest shots to hit consistently.
Manage your game and use your head for better scores in 2009.

Rules as Follows
1. Tee Times
Monday – Friday tee times can be made only 2 days in advance unless playing with an existing member.
Weekend tee times can only be made two days in advance
between 10:00AM – 12:30 PM or after 2:00 PM.
No Exceptions Associate members may not play before 10:00 AM or between 12:30 – 2:00 PM on weekends.
2. No tournament play as an associate member. However, if you are a member at another club with an established handicap at that club, you can play as a guest of an Allendale member.
3. No pool privileges, no food. Driving range privileges only on the day a round of golf is played.
4. If interested in upgrading to a full membership during the season dues will be prorated.
