Adding new windows is one of the easiest ways to improve the appearance of your home while reducing your heat loss and lowering energy bills.
Curb Appeal
Improving the exterior of your home not only adds to its value but also to the neighborhood in general. Is your home in need of painting, siding, porch or roof repairs or replacement? When driving up to your home, does it appear clean, attractive and well kept from the curb? Does your property need landscaping? If not, addressing areas of concern, such as an unkempt yard, a dilapidated porch, stairs that may be in disrepair, roofs that are falling apart, a driveway that needs repaving, or anything that detracts from the aesthetic quality should be your next step.
Indoors
Begin with the basics. Do what you can within your budget to give your walls, floors and also your kitchen cabinets the face-lift they need. Fresh paint, nice floors, decent kitchen cabinets and lots of light can make the difference between a home that says “come in and stay a while” and one that is merely providing shelter from the elements.
