Grandma Win’s Baking Corner

Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

2 Cups of dry bread (small cubes)    ¼ teaspoon salt
4 Cups of milk                1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs beaten                1 teaspoon nutmeg
2/3 Cup sugar                2/3 Cup washed raisins

Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together first.  Then mix all ingredients together and pour into a deep baking pan/dish.  Dot the top with butter.  Bake at 325º for 1-1½ hours until the top is brown.  The mixture will sink down when done.  Serve hot or cold with poured cream.  Enjoy!
