The Southcoast Wound Care Center offers patients comprehensive treatment and an expert team to help heal problem wounds.

Millions of Americans suffer from non-healing wounds. Patients who benefit from our services may suffer from chronic diabetes, cardiovascular disease, surgical and traumatic wounds and late effect radiation tissue damage from cancer treatment.

Our dedicated facility, located at Charlton Memorial Hospital, includes two hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers (HBOT), offering the most up-to-date treatment.

Our wound care team coordinates a program of care individualized for each patient. Care may include thorough diagnostic evaluation including diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing, aggressive treatment with the latest clinical modalities including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and tissue engineered products, and physical therapy, nutrition education, case management and patient education.

Care is provided by a local team of experts who include surgeons with experience in treating hard-to-heal wounds and a clinical team of nurses and technicians.
