We believe in power washing your home so much that we are giving it away for free! That’s right -- FREE!
Well over a decade ago, actually closer to two, my wife and I bought our first home together in Braintree. This house was so old and so ugly that it made the house in the movie “Money Pit” look beautiful! Anyway, in my infinite wisdom, aside from being broke, I thought that if I were to power wash the outside of my house it would turn an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan!
Back then, my uncle, Ken Boddie owned his own power washing company (he is now the owner of Pressure Washer Warehouse in Hanover) and I asked if I could borrow one of his pressure washers to do the job. He went over a long list of things I needed to know before I used the machine. But, like a typical guy, I didn’t listen to him! I thought that if someone else could do it, so could I! Well, that is where I was wrong. I never imagined how much knowledge, time, and equipment you need to do a power washing job, and do it correctly.
Most homeowners feel that power washing is an easy job; one that they are willing to try themselves. What usually happens is they will go to a big box store and buy the pressure washer that is on sale. Then they buy the big box store’s inferior cleaning products or worse, a bottle of bleach, come home and start the project. Little do they realize how difficult power washing really is -- just like that unforgettable day of power washing my first house!
Here are some very familiar quotes I’ve heard over the years. And, if you have tried to power wash your home, you may have said the same things:
“I’m confused” - There are too many detergents to choose from. How do I get the soap on the house? How do I start this thing?
“I’m tired” - of wasting time and money because all I get is little or no results.
“I’m frustrated” – I’ve spent the whole weekend power washing and I’m still not done.
“I’m annoyed” – This isn’t as easy as it looks and how do I reach way up there?
“I’m discouraged” – This is not fun, it’s hard work and half the house still looks like crap.
Some of our best clients are those that own their own pressure washers and our most appreciative clients are those who tried to wash their own homes.
I can assure you that I have grown since that frightful day way back when! I bought the power washing business from my Uncle Ken, and since then, bought two other local power washing businesses. East Coast Powerwashing has grown expedientially over the years and it is a company that you can feel confident hiring.
