Low-level, or IR (infra red), laser therapy is a safe and non-invasive form of pain relief being used today to heal and/or help many conditions. IR laser therapy works by shining a source of infra-red light at the pain source. Laser therapy has worked wonders for the arthritis sufferers and patients with spinal disc herniations in my practice.
The IR light helps to work on a cellular level to speed up the healing process of your cells and tissues. Low level laser therapy can be used in any number of conditions from joint pain to skin conditions. Studies have shown healing times to be cut up to 40% or more, and some studies have shown reductions of pain up to 80% or more with laser therapy than in patients under traditional pain therapy such as NSAIDS (pain killers). Laser therapy may be able to reduce your pain. Call today for a free consultation!
