Dr. Santelli was born and raised in Brooklyn and Long Island New York. He graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 and the University of Detroit Dental School in 1971. He married and joined the US Navy that same year and was stationed in Newport, RI until 1973. He relocated to Plymouth where he practiced until 2006. In January 2007 he opened his new Dental Spa. |

I often give seminars to local “over 55” communities, Senior Centers, Chamber of Commerce groups, etc. and the title of these talks is “The Purple Cow”. You may ask, “What does a purple cow have
to do with dentistry?” I’m glad you asked!
I immediately ask my audience, “Have you ever seen a purple cow?” and “Did you think purple cows existed?” Obviously the answer is always an emphatic NO! At least I hope that is the case. Anyway, the reason I tell them that I titled my seminar the Purple Cow is that dentistry did not think a Mini Dental Implant would ever exist...

At first glance the words “Dental” and “Spa” do not seem to be related. That is until Dr. Joseph Santelli, a general dentist in Duxbury, decided to do some research. After building a very successful dental practice in Plymouth for over 30 years, Dr. Santelli has opened a new, state-of-the-art dental facility in the town where he and his wife reside. The rest, as they say, is history.
