Women on Wednesdays Business Networking Luncheons

Join us for an afternoon of networking with other business women and, if you would like, give a 30 second "commercial" about yourself or your business.
Wednesday, September 15th
Waterfront Grille
36 Homer’s Wharf, New Bedford, MA
$25 per person
Choose one entree (includes coffee, tea, soda, dessert and cash bar):
Pan Seared Scallops with an Orange Ginger Sauce and Roasted Carrots
Chicken Scampi in a Garlic, Lemon, White Wine Sauce with Sun Dried Tomatoes over Angel Hair Pasta
Grilled Shrimp Kabobs with a Citrus Glaze, Coconut Rice, and Roasted Carrots
Reservations are required and payment by credit card must be made in advance and no later than September 8th. Space is limited and we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at these events.
Please call the Women's Journals at (877)850-8240 to make your reservations and entree selections.
Cancellation Policy: The restaurants require our guest totals and meal selections in advance. We will only accept cancellations up to the Reservation Deadline. Any cancellation made after this deadline will be treated as an attendance and payment MUST still be made for the lunch. You may send an alternate to the luncheon if you are unable to attend.

ANIMAL ADVOCATES HUGE YARD SALE FOR ABANDONED DOGS & CATS

Animal Advocates is having a Huge Yard Sale to raise money for abandoned dogs and cats on July 10 & 11, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The rain date July 17 & 18.
The Yard Sale is at 153 Rockland Street, So. Dartmouth, MA, off Dartmouth Street. The money raised will spay and neuter abandoned and homeless dogs and cats and pets living with people struggling financially.

In the month of July on every Tuesday, Animal Advocates is having a fundraiser at Not Your Average Joe’s Restaurant in Dartmouth. By eating out at Joe’s on Tuesdays in the month of July, 15% of your bill will be donated to Animal Advocates. Please call us and we will mail you a Joe’s flyer to be presented at Joe’s Restaurant; (508) 991-7727 or (774) 888-9008. Tell your friends and help us spread the news about our Joe’s fundraiser.
All Hands on Deck Quilt Show

A quilt show sponsored by Shining Tides Quilt Guild, will be displaying over 100 hand and machine projects, including 52 deck of card designs. Enjoy the fine art work of wall, bed/lap and art/contemporary styles, applique and much more. Decorative gift baskets and raffle quilt will be available. A portion of the proceeds of the raffle quilt will benefit the Woman's Center of New Bedford.
